Sample Argumentative Essay - To Kill a Mockingbird

Sample Argumentative Essay - To Kill a MockingbirdTo kill a mockingbird is a sample argumentative essay. If you want to be published or impress someone, the best way to do that is to make it sound like you know what you're talking about and have facts backed up by citations. The following essay was submitted as a test for this particular essay subject. In this essay, I try to summarize and explain an example using one sentence. It doesn't matter whether I include a complex theory or present a simple summation. The important thing is that it has two steps - one is getting the general issue explained and the other is getting it explained using examples. Then I add the research source.'To Kill a Mockingbird' is a bestseller. It is known for its powerful narration and for the tremendous black humor it uses. The author, Harper Lee, offers several chapters dealing with the main character, Scout. Chapters start with 'Sunday' describing Scout's determination to win the 'gospel of the day.' Af ter the name of the day (which is Sunday), there are three chapters, each dealing with a different holiday: Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's.What's happening here is that the author doesn't want to just tell the reader 'To Kill a Mockingbird' was written on a Sunday. Instead, it tells us what happens when Scout takes time off from her church and how she has special memories of certain holidays. I bet that's not what most readers expect to hear. One thing you will notice in this sample argumentative essay is that I include no references. If I were writing a paper for a college exam, I would not use information from Wikipedia. I would use sources that are available to the general public and are generally accepted as being true. In this case, I would use official books, newspaper archives, websites, and newspapers to provide more information about the subject.I wouldn't choose a book that's not widely available because I think the book is well written. If the book doesn't have mu ch available information, I'm not going to choose it because it would be too easy to find what I wanted.Remember, to kill a mockingbird, the essay should be well organized and give enough information for a reader to see where I'm coming from. There is more to writing a well-written paper than having things laid out correctly. Just getting the information in is not enough. For this reason, I would not choose any book or website as my source of information. When trying to write a well-written sample argumentative essay, I recommend you get your information from sources that the general public can trust. Unless I specifically state that a book is my source, don't assume that it is.
